Weekends are supposed refreshing right? Not when you’re running on fumes, chasing a baby, little sleep (if any) and drinking enough coffee to fuel the damn Millennium Falcon!!

Our adrenal glands help us through stressful times whether perceived by us or not. Controlling several vital hormones within the body like cortisol (regulates metabolism) and aldosterone (controls blood pressure) they play a significant role in your health but are often overworked and overlooked. Just like resting between workouts to allow the body time to recover and rebuild, our adrenals also need a recovery phase to function optimally.
